The Wound Pros, a foremost wound care management company in the nation, has joined forces with Libertas International, an NGO committed to ending human trafficking and child exploitation. This partnership underscores the company's commitment to positive societal impact and promoting community well-being, demonstrating its dedication to healing beyond medical care.

Libertas International is dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating victims in Latin America, providing them with a new beginning through English language training, education, and mentorship programs. This effort is vital in light of the grim reality of human trafficking, a $150 billion industry that entraps over 40 million people worldwide, with women making up to 70% of those affected.

Ayanna Releford, The Wound Pros' Director of Global Help Desk, initiated the partnership with Libertas, which embodies the wound care company's core values of care, community, and transformation. To demonstrate its commitment, the company donated $100,000 to support Libertas in its mission.

The Wound Pros' donation will bolster Libertas International's ability to establish safe, educational, and supportive environments for survivors. This funding will supply essential tools for physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual healing, empowering survivors to break free from the cycle of trauma and embrace a new life of freedom.

"The Wound Pros' partnership with Libertas International represents a powerful alignment of our mission with actionable care that transcends borders and impacts lives profoundly. The fight against human trafficking is not just a battle against a criminal industry; it is a fight to restore human dignity and freedom," said Ayanna Releford.
