Wound Care Without Walls

Healing the world through wound care

Why wound care matters

Diabetic wounds are sores or ulcers that occur primarily on the feet of people with diabetes. They can be caused by poor blood circulation, nerve damage (neuropathy), a weak immune system, and other conditions. Slow to heal and at increased risk of infection, they are often particularly tough to treat.

Our mission

We believe quality wound care should be accessible to all, regardless of geographical or economic barriers. Our program is designed to:

  • Deliver advanced wound care services to underserved communities worldwide.
  • Minimize the incidence of chronic wounds and prevent lower-limb amputations.
  • Enhance healing outcomes and reduce complications by leveraging best-in-class technology and treatment protocols.

How we work

Our dedicated team of ambassadors provides advanced wound-care services to patients in regions with limited healthcare access. Focusing on these underserved communities helps us improve patient care and healing outcomes, raise awareness about wound prevention and management, and empower our local partners with the knowledge and tools they need to manage chronic wounds effectively.

Wound Care Without Walls

So far, WCWW’s impact has been felt in nearly a dozen countries across Asia, Africa and the Americas. We are working to expand our services in Brazil and Mexico, bringing advanced wound care to those most in need.

WCWW in action

In March 2024, Dr. Chris Otiko, co-founder and corporate treasurer at The Wound Pros, visited Abuja, Nigeria, on behalf of Wound Care Without Walls (WCWW). His mission: introduce Tetracyte, a powerful FDA-registered topical antibiotic effective against all tested Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, a leading cause of acne, cuts, burns, and secondary infections from psoriasis and eczema. Dr. Otiko, accompanied by Adebola Adefuye, clinical supervisor for The Wound Pros' Complex Wound Management Team, engaged in strategic discussions with representatives of the Nigerian government to promote Tetracyte and ensure WCWW’s continued success and sustainability in Nigeria
