Diabetic wounds are sores or ulcers that occur primarily on the feet of people with diabetes. They can be caused by poor blood circulation, nerve damage (neuropathy), a weak immune system, and other conditions. Slow to heal and at increased risk of infection, they are often particularly tough to treat.
